INTRODUCTION:

DESTAR air actuated 3-way L-port ball valves function as either a diverter valve or selector valve. Air actuated T-port valves generally function as diverter valves. Spring return air actuators use a maintained pneumatic pilot air signal to open (position 2) and springs to close (position 1) the valve (failsafe). Double acting air actuators use pilot air to open and air to close the valve. Advantages of air actuated ball valves over other types valves may include: higher flow rates, higher pressures, higher temperatures, wider media compatibility, straight through flow path, reduced water hammer, and use in hazardous environments.

Rugged, hard-anodized aluminum construction with spring return or double acting options. PVC, CPVC, PPH, PVDF L-port or T-port for use as diverting, selecting or mixing valve. 1/2"(DN15) to 4"(DN100).
